ACO manufacture three different chamber types specifically designed for use with Qmax 150, 225 and 350 channels. Within the Qmax range ACO offer an access chamber, outlet/inlet chamber and silt chamber to suit both D400 and F900 load classifications. Qmax chambers are designed to provide a compact and economical method of gaining access to a channel system for maintenance and cleaning, connections to traditional underground drainage networks, or for silt management.
The Qmax chambers allow for 4-way channel connections to be made for simple changes of direction and optimised scheme designs. The three different types allow for flexibility within Qmax installations, and depending on pipe connections can be used simply as an access point or an access unit including a silt chamber.
Qmax outlet/inlet and silt chambers provide outlet pipe connection options to 160mm PVC-U, 200mm, 225mm and 300mm twinwall or clay pipe work. They also allow for 110mm PVC-U inlet connections to be made, reducing the need for additional underground pipe work.
All Qmax chambers are manufactured from polyethylene (PE) which is lightweight, tough and chemically resistant. The materials used in the construction of the Qmax chambers contain high levels of recycled materials and are themselves recyclable at the end of their life.
Qmax chambers are supplied complete with slotted or solid hinged ductile iron covers and frames to suit both D400 and F900 load classifications.
Please note, the images above show the D400 cover and frame option with 10mm wide slots, the F900 cover and frame option has 19mm wide slots.
We also offer all three chamber types complete with a galvanised steel recessed cover and frame for use with up to 100mm block paving, slabs and natural stone. These chambers are only for use with Qmax Q-Slot and can only achieve a load class of D400.
ACO also manufacture a shallow access chamber to allow 4-way channel connections with a silt collection within shallow installations. The shallow access chamber is available with either ductile iron slotted (21mm wide) or solid lockable covers and frames in both D400 and F900 versions and has an overall depth of 885mm.
