The Bat Box dimensions have been designed specifically around standard brick sizes.

They occupy three brick courses in height and half a brick in width and so can be easily be built into any new building constructed of standard size house bricks. The Bat Box can also be retrofitted to existing buildings or built into block-built walls, although some making good may be necessary.
