As standard KerbDrain combined kerb and drainage channels are supplied in two lengths, 1000mm and 500mm, although there are some exceptions. KerbDrain HB305 is also offered in a 250mm long section, while HB480 and SP480 are only available in 500mm lengths due to the excessive weight of a longer section.
ACO DO NOT recommend cutting our KerbDrain combined kerb and drainage channels as a standard practice. However, we appreciate there will be occasions, such as 90° when there is no other option, please ensure that cuts are kept to a minimum and ensure that all joints are sealed. For further details please refer to the articles listed below.
When installing any KerbDrain channel sections they should be “butted” to the adjacent channel using an appropriate sealant such as Sikaflex 11FC or Geocel 945 sealant. Please refer to our articles “Is KerbDrain Watertight?” and “KerbDrain Sealant Quantities” for further information.
